Officers of the Patrol Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained G.T., born in 1999, due to operative-investigative and search operations.
As report.ge was informed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the investigation established that G.T., on November 23 of 2021, broke into one of the branches of the Bank of Georgia, located on Ketevan Tsamebuli Avenue, for the purpose of robbery but failed to carry out his intention and tried to hide.
"Patrol police officers, as a result of search operations, arrested him in the vicinity of the scene, within a few minutes.
The investigation is underway under Article 179 of the Criminal Code, which stipulates robbery," the statement said.
