Georgia police arrest Interpol-wanted

Police officers of the Central Criminal Police Department of Georgia’s Interior Ministry have arrested a Ukrainian citizen wanted by Interpol.

The operative investigative activities were conducted in cooperation with the Prosecutor’s Office.

‘’The investigation has shown that the detainee, identified only as D.K. with accomplices, illegally grabbed 17 high-cost vehicles in Luxembourg. Afterward, he legalized the property with a criminal group,’’ Georgia’s Interior Ministry reports.

The detainee will face charges following the Luxembourg Criminal Code for creation/membership of a criminal organized group, money laundering, and theft in aggravated circumstances.
