According to the child's mother, the man confessed to the incident, called the patrol, and turned himself in to the police.
As the Ministry of Internal Affairs told Report.ge, the investigation into the incident launched under Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which stipulates lewd acts against a family member.
