A man born in 1988 was arrested in Gori for illegal possession of firearms and ammunition and hooliganism.
As the Georgian Interior Ministry reports, an investigation showed that the accused fired several aimless shots in the streets.
“During the arrest of G.S. resisted to the officers of the patrol police,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.
Police also seized a hunting rifle and ammunition from the detainee’s apartment.
The detainee faces four to seven years in jail.
