The MIA has released new details on the incident which happened near David the Builder statue in Dighomi.
The body informs that one person has been detained over an attempted murder crime. The detainee has reportedly stabbed the young woman, 28, in the neck in the Dighomi district and fled the crime scene.
The defendant has a prior criminal record. The knife with which she wounded the woman has already been retrieved from his flat.
The investigation is in progress into the attempted murder case, with the crime envisaging from 7 to 15 years in prison.
