Police arrested Z.D., born in 1977 in Batumi, on charges of premeditated murder. The Ministry of Internal Affairs spreads information about the detention.
According to the agency, the investigation established that on November 6 this year, the accused wounded a citizen of the Republic of Belarus, T.Ch., born in 1971, several times with a cold weapon and hid from the scene.
As a result of the wounds inflicted, T.Ch. died on the spot.
The investigation is underway on the fact of premeditated murder under Article 108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
The offense carries a maximum sentence of 7 to 15 years in prison.
