Raped woman jumps from balcony on eighth floor in Tbilisi, dies

The Prosecutor's Office of Georgia says that they have pressed charges against a man, known only as B.T., who first subjected a woman, identified only as A.A., to psychological pressure and threats and raped her afterward. The victim proved unable to deal with the psychological and physical trauma and ended her life by jumping from the eighth-floor balcony. 

The crime was committed on 5 May. The perpetrator was detained the following day. He faces his charges and may be sent to jail from eight to ten years.
