The special operation which lasted for several hours is over in Varketili. Law enforcement officers detained an armed man locked in the house. It took several hours of negotiations for the man to hand himself over to law enforcement.
As Vazha Siradze, the head of the Patrol Police Department said, no one was injured. According to him, the person is in a very drunken state.
"After the talks, the person left the house and surrendered," Siradze said.
The drunk man locked himself in his house and fired several shots. He has a restraining order.
