According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, the officers of Vake-Saburtalo Main Division, within the framework of operative-investigative actions, arrested three persons G.Ch., born in 2001, O.G., born in 1998 and D.S., born in 2000 with gang robbery on a hot pursuit in Tbilisi.
"The investigation revealed that the accused stole money from cashiers, threatening their lives and health, with a cold weapon, in a shop "Spar" on Vazha-Pshavela Avenue in Tbilisi, and fled the scene.
Police officers, as a result of urgent investigative actions, arrested G.Ch., O.G. And D.S. within hours after the incident, on a hot pursuit.
During the search of the apartment owned by the sister of one of the accused - G.Ch the stolen money GEL 1375 was seized as evidence, as well as weapons for committing a crime - two knives," said the statement by MIA.
The investigation is underway under Article 179, Part 2, Subparagraph B of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which stipulates gang robbery.
The offense carries a maximum sentence of six to nine years in prison.
