Customs officers, as a result of physical examination of a citizen of Georgia, detected 106.58 grams of undeclared chemical -mercury, at the checkpoint Kartsakhi.
According to the revenue Service Center of the Ministry of Finance, the case materials transferred to the relevant unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The investigation at Samtskhe-Javakheti Police Department was launched under Article 214, part 4 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which violates the rule of movement of goods at the customs border of Georgia. Investigations are underway.
