A woman,25, has been beaten and raped in Tbilisi, according to the MIA. The body says that a man, identified only as I.Z. (DOB 2002), was detained after the incident in Tbilisi.
Law enforcement officers at the Vake-Saburtalo Division of the Tbilisi Police Department learned that I.Z. verbally and physically abused the 25-year-old woman, identified only as I.Z., and raped her afterward.
The investigation into the case is underway, with the perpetrator facing from six to eight years behind bars.
