Avtandil Varsimashvili has been reelected as artistic director of the Griboedov Theatre.
Varsimashvili is an acting artistic director at the theatre, but his term was ending on 1 Jan 2022.
Varsimashvili has presented the candidature of Nikoloz Sventitski for the post of director of the Griboedov Theater to the minister of culture. Sventitski's four-year term was also expiring on 1 Jan 2022.
