Under the auspices of The Embassy of Georgia, a Christmas concert commemorating the life and works of composer Gia Kancheli has been held at the Minoritenkirche Cathedral in Vienna.
Georgian artists in Vienna -- pianist Ketevan Sepashvili, composer and pianist Giorgi Kachinski, flute player Temur Kharshiladze, and others -- were reportedly involved in the concert.
Representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited to Austria, governmental agencies, the Georgian Diaspora, and others attended the concert.
