According to the Georgian National Film Center, a film called A Tunnel by Nino Orjonikidze and Vano Arsenishvili has won the best feature-length documentary award at Azerbaijan's International Film Festival called DokuBaku.
In the film, the action takes place in the region of Kharagauli. Within the Georgian Railway Modernization project, the express train is set to connect China to Europe via Georgia, with this turning the little villages' life upside down.
A Tunnel was first debuted globally at the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA) in 2019.
