The Gran Canaria Opera House closes the season with Giuseppe Verdi's opera Macbeth, starring Georgian baritone Giorgi Gagnidze and his partner, Italian soprano Anna Pirozzi.
The first performance was held on June 15. Due to the high demand for Macbeth, the management of the Grand Canary Theater moved all the performances to the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium.
"Macbeth" performances will be held on June 17 and 19. Spanish director Alfonso Romero staged the play. Italian Francisco Ivan Champa conducts the performances.
