Initiative to set up a sculpture of Gia Kancheli is reviewed in Belgian city of Antwerp. The idea came from Dachi Khasaia, a Georgian musician living in Belgium. It is planned to set the sculpture in Middleheim park which is known to be one of the most loved rest places of Gia Kancheli.
Dachi Khasaia told Report.ge that the Belgian side looks positively to the initiative.
“There are lots of details that need to be reviewed together. The information that the sculpture will necessarily be set is not correct as there are lots to be settled besides the approval. We work on it. The project is in the working process”, he said
