Canadian singer The Weeknd has announced plans to donate $ 1 million to help those affected by the conflict in Ethiopia.
"I am heartbroken because of my Ethiopian people because innocent civilians, including young children and the elderly, are dying in vain and entire villages are forced to flee in fear," the singer wrote.
According to the singer, the money will be used to provide food for 2 million people.
He called on everyone on the social network who can help the affected region.
