Tarzan actor killed in plane crash

A plane crash in the US state of Tennessee killed 58-year-old actor Joe Lara, who starred in the series "Tarzan: The Epic Adventures" (1996-2000), The Hollywood Reporter writes.

A Cessna C501 light aircraft crashed into a lake. Along with the actor died his wife, the famous dietitian Gwen Shamblin Lara.

During his 30-year career, Lara starred in over 30 films. He was in the series "Malibu Rescue" (1989-2001) and "Conan" (1997-1998).
