The Agency of Wildlife under the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture of Georgia has released 10,000 Georgia’s Red List brook trout fries into the Ritseula and Khedeturi rivers. For the purposes of the brook trout protection, the Department of Environment Protection has installed camera and video traps.
The joint project of the Agency of Wildlife and The Georgian International Energy Corporation aims to rear the brook trout fry in the Ritseula gorge.
