In September of this year, $ 7.43 million was transferred from Azerbaijan to Georgia. The amount transferred from Azerbaijan is 3.85% of the total remittances. On an annual basis, the figure increased by 270.79%.
The volume of remittances in the country in September 2020 amounted to 192.7 million US dollars, or GEL 611.4 million, which is 28.7% or 43.0 million US dollars, more than the same period in September 2019.
