One of the leading renewable energy companies ACCIONA is discussing the possibilities to develop wind and solar power stations in Georgia.
The ACCIONA Director-General met Georgia's Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia in Davos, Switzerland, and said that the company delegation had already visited Georgia to study its possibilities.
Gakharia provided the investor with information on the investment environment and renewable energy potential of Georgia.
He said Georgia is a reliable partner leading in terms of business simplicity.
The parties stressed Georgia's role as a transit hub for the region and the EU market.
As the parties decided, the ACCIONA delegation will continue negotiations with the Georgian government on the construction of wind power plants.
