According to Levan Akhvlediani, the Director General of Anaklia Development Consortium the information about the possible closing of the Consortium is not true. Akhvlediani stated that the employees of the Consortium were not fired and the information reported is not true.
October 15 is the deadline for the Anaklia Development Consortium to submit an agreement to the government about investor banks allocating funds for the project. Akhvlediani states that the Consortium continues to fulfill its obligations and will share more information after October 15.
