As Head of Georgia's National Tourism Administration Mariam Kvrivishvili stated, the demand for domestic tourism has recently increased, and the loading factor of Georgian resorts reached 80%.
She says the domestic tourism data cannot replace the number of the travelers Georgia hosted earlier.
She still evaluates domestic tourism as a 'positive and increasing trend.'
''We receive the feedback from the hotels and see that we, with our joint efforts, have led our citizens to travel across Georgia,'' she concluded.
