Azerbaijan among Georgia's top five import partners

The National Statistics Office of Georgia reports that the share of ten largest import partners of Georgia equaled 69.2% in January – May 2020.

The first five are Turkey (478.8 mln USD), Russia (336.9 mln USD) China (274.7 mln USD), Azerbaijan (241 765.8 mln USD), and Germany (153 215.8 mln USD).

The share of the ten most significant trading partner countries in the total foreign trade turnover of Georgia reached 69.8% in January-May 2020. 

The largest trading partners of Georgia are Turkey - 560.6 million USD, Russia - 494.0 million USD, and China - 443.2 million USD.

Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Ukraine share fourth, fifth and sixth places, respectively.
