Azerbaijan increases gas volume transported via TANAP

As the report by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Energy reads, following the 2020 Jan – Apr data, 3,5 bln cubic meter gas was exported to Turkey via TANAP.

Under the report, the rate of the first quarter of 2020 is 23.6% more than the previous year's indicator.

Since the commissioning of the TANAP pipeline began, 5,1 bln cubic meters of gas has been exported to Turkey,

The Shah-Deniz gas transportation is carried out in the direction of Turkey, while the TANAP pipeline transferred the first volume of gas in 2007 (Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum).

The commercial air flow to Turkey via TANAP began on June 30, 2018.
