Petrol and diesel fuel imports in Georgia were at 1042,3 thousand tons in January-November 2021, according to the Union of Oil Product Importers. This year's imported petrol and diesel products exceeded those of last year by 37.5 thousand tons or 3.7%.
A total of 537.5 petrol (43.8 tons or 8.9% more than that of 2020) was imported over the 11 months of 2021, while diesel fuel imports stood at 504.8 thousand tons (6.3 thousand tons or 1.2% less than that of 2020).
A large share of imports _ 194.5 thousand tons or 18.7% of total fuel imports _ was from Azerbaijan.
