The Georgian government communicated with Turkish Airlines and Pegasus. They will remunerate the expenses for the canceled flights and offer other destinations.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs provided information to Report.ge.
It is already known that Turkish Airlines and Pegasus have suspended flights to Germany, France, Spain, Norway, Denmark, Belgium, Sweden, Austria, and the Netherlands starting from April 17.
“Consequent from the current developments, the Embassies and Consulates of Georgia are working in emergency regime; hotlines work in 24-hour mode. The citizens of Georgia who have problems of returning home due to the flights' suspension, please contact the Consulates of the countries you reside to get consultation and information on alternative routes,” – the Ministry states.
