Economy grows by 6.9% in October

According to preliminary estimates of the National Statistics Office, in October 2021, compared to the same period of the previous year, real GDP growth was 6.9 percent, while the average for the first ten months of 2021 was 10.5 percent.

According to the National Statistics Office of Georgia, in October 2021, compared to the same period of the previous year, growth was observed in areas such as manufacturing, transport and warehousing, arts, entertainment and leisure, electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning, financial and insurance activities, hotels and restaurants, trade.

According to the National Statistics Office, a downward trend was observed in the construction sector.
