Electricity-powered buses to move in coastal Batumi city

As Batumi City Hall reported, Georgia's coastal city of Batumi will be the first with electricity-powered municipal buses.

The electric buses will appear in the city in autumn.

The number of new buses will be eight. The 9.5-meter-length white buses will have a capacity of 70 passengers.

The new electric buses will meet all the modern standards.

The project value is four million EUR, financed by EBRD, that had declared a tender for the purchase of the new buses.

The BKM company is the winner of the tender.
