Europe may be left without gas in 2022

In 2022, Europe may be left without gas. According to Report.ge, information about this is spread by Bloomberg.

According to Sebastian Bleschke, head of INES, the association of gas storage system operators, gas reserves in Europe are only 56% full.

"The two coldest months of winter are coming; there are concerns that Europe may run out of gas. The repositories are only 56% full, which is more than 15 percentage points lower than the 10-year average," Bleschke explained.

He said that in the event of a reduction in Russian gas exports, reserves could be reduced by up to 15% by the end of March.

The head of INES notes that the crisis may last until 2025.
