Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia has present a plan to support agriculture.
In his words, every single farmer will receive 200-GEL financial aid per hectare of their registered land plots.
He says the farmers will also enjoy a one-GEL discount on diesel.
Following the government plan, all Georgian farmers will be exempt from irrigation fees.
Entrepreneurs will receive 50% financial aid from the government in case of purchasing equipment, install irrigation systems or greenhouses.
Farmers will be able to enjoy the offers starting on May 20, 2020.
The government has allocated 300 million GEL for the facilitation of farmers.
