As Azerbaijani media outlets report, in 2019, the volume of freight shipped via Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railroad increased by 42% than it was in 2018.
Earlier, Azerbaijani media reported that the number of containers shipped through the railway reached 10,000.
According to the data published by the Azerbaijani side, the shipped freight volume gradually and stable grows.
In 2018, the rate included 4 135 (TEU) containers, while the number reached 5 810 (TEU) in 2019.
The Georgian Economic Ministry has not reported the data yet.
