From July 1, customers will receive an electricity receipt from "Telmiko" instead of "Telasi"

According to the Chairperson of Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission, Davit Narmania, Telmiko will provide electricity to the subscribers in Tbilisi instead of Telasi. Davit Narmania stated about it on "Business Formula."

This change is due to the ongoing energy reforms in the country. The law separates electricity distribution and supply activities. Consequently, if until now both power supply and distribution were provided by the same legal entity, now this activity is separated.

According to the Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission, the regulator must set the electricity supply tariff for these companies by July 1, although the new tariff will be identical to the current tariff, and it will not change anything for the customer.
