Gas prices falling in Europe

The price of gas futures in Europe fell by more than 9% compared to the mark set for the opening of the trading day.

According to Report.ge, this is evidenced by the ICE data on the London Stock Exchange.

January futures price for gas at the Dutch TTF hub fell to $ 1,134 per thousand cubic meters.

On December 21, the gas exchange price in Europe exceeded $ 2,000 per thousand cubic meters for the first time in history.

According to the Financial Times, one of the reasons for the increase in gas prices was the fact that Gazprom refused to supply additional volumes through Ukraine, which was aimed at increasing exports to Europe.
