Gas tariff to remain unchanged for three years

The natural gas tariff will remain unchanged for three years in Georgia, Head of the National Commission for Regulation of Energy and Water Supply, Davit Narmania has declared.

In his words, many factors were taken into consideration during the gas tariff calculation.

"There is a special formula, the commission uses to calculate the gas tariff.  Over the next three years, in 2020, 2021, 2022, it will remain unchanged," Narmania stated.

As he stated, no unexpected review of the electricity tariff will take place.

In Tbilisi, the gas tariff is 0.46 GEL per cubic meter of natural gas, while the fare is 0.57 GEL in Georgia's regions.
