As of September 17, 2020, Georgia has exported 3,430 tonnes of hazelnuts. The rate exceeds the same period data of 2019 by 58%.
Georgia exports hazelnut to the EU markets, in particular, to Germany (1096,9 tonnes), Italy (636,7 tonnes), Czech Republic (220,3 tonnes), Spain (127 tonnes), Poland (126 tonnes)+(101 tonnes), France (81 tonnes), Greece (34,7 tonnes), Austria (22 tonnes), Estonia (22 tonnes) and Latvia (21 tonnes).
Georgia also exports hazelnuts to Armenia (229,5 tonnes), Russia (160 tonnes), Ukraine (83,7 tonnes), Belarus (80,5 tonnes), Brazil (74 tonnes), Mexico (39 tonnes), and UK (22 tonnes).
More than 30 enterprises are involved in the hazelnuts procession.
