Georgia exports 567 tonnes of peach, nectarine to Azerbaijan

In 2020, Georgia has exported 567 tonnes of peach and nectarine to Azerbaijan.

With the exported amount, Azerbaijan ranks third among the largest peach export market after Russia and Armenia.

The apple and nectarine export rates to Russia and Armenia have increased, while the rates remain unchanged in other countries.

The Georgian peach and nectarine export rates by countries are as follows:

Russia (16,271,1 tonnes), Armenia (7,467,1 tonnes) Azerbaijan (567 tonnes), Kazakhstan (112,9 tonnes), Ukraine (111,5 tonnes), Poland (111,5 tonnes), Moldova (89,6 tonnes),Slovenia (57,3 tonnes), Singapore (0,14 tonnes).

As of September 10, 2020, Georgia has exported 24,788 tonnes of peach and nectarine, and the number exceeds the 2019 rate by 87%.

The revenues obtained by the peach and nectarine exports equals 20,8 mln USD.
