Georgia exports 776 tonnes of apple

Georgia has exported 776 tonnes of apple as of September 17, 2020. This rate exceeds the previous year's indicator by about five times, the Georgian Agriculture Ministry reports.

The exports rate is as follows:

Russia - 722.3 tonnes

Kazakhstan - 51.4 tonnes

Armenia – 2,5 tonnes

Other countries – 0,10 tonnes

Under the latest data, Georgia has processed more than 2,000 tonnes of non-standard apple.

The apple projected harvest has increased by about three times compared to 2019.

It totals more than 120,000 tonnes.

The apple exports' income exceeds the 2019 same rate by 250%, as it totals 218,000 USD.
