Georgia launches new dairy development program

A new program for the development of dairy has been launched in six regions of Georgia, financed by the International Fund for Agriculture Development (IFAD).

A total of 16 million EUR has been allocated for the program.

The co-sponsorship teeters between 40% and 80%, with a minimum financial support limit amounting to 8,000 GEL.

The maximum limit is 195,000 GEL.

Small and average farmers represent the target group.

The program will be carried out in Imereti, Samegrelo, Samtskhe-Javakheti, Kvemo Kartli, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kakheti regions.
