Construction of the Namakhvani HPP dam has been postponed, Georgia’s Economic Minister Natia Turnava stated.
In her words, the project has been suspended for several months until all the questions are answered.
“The company, as part of the law-given authority, is carrying out road work,’’ Turnava claimed.
She says that the government is ready to discuss each research.
“Until we have full guarantees and the people get to know these guarantees, until we assure them that Namakhvani HPP dam is really safe, we will not begin construction,’’ Minister Natia Turnava said.
