Georgia publishes external trade data for six months

As the National Statistics Office of Georgia reports, in January-June 2020, Georgia's external trade turnover (minus undeclared trade) equaled 5,072.5 million USD, being 16.3% less than in the same period in 2019.

Out of the volume, $1,503.5 million (15.6% less) was exported, and $ 3,558.9 million (16.5% less) was accounted for by imports.

In January-June 2020, the negative trade balance of Georgia reached 2,065.4 million USD. It is 40.7% of the total foreign trade turnover.
