International SOS Travel security services firm has published a travel security risk map, in which Georgia is marked in yellow, with this implying that it is a low risk country for tourists and travelers.

By just writing a country's name in the map search box, one can find the list of high and low risk countries. In the region, like Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan are regarded low risk countries, whereas Russia is deemed a moderate risk country.

Availability of medical care has been listed among other factors for determination of the safety level in the country.

The safest countries for travelers are deemed to be Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Slovenia, Luxemburg and Switzerland. Most dangerous countries are Afghanistan, Central African Republic, Somalia and Syria.
