Georgia's economy grew by 10.3 percent in August

According to the preliminary estimates of the National Statistics Office, in August 2021, compared to the same period of the previous year, real GDP growth was 10.3 percent. The average for the first eight months of 2021 is 12.0 percent.

According to the National Statistics Office of Georgia, in August 2021, compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, an increase was observed in manufacturing, financial and insurance activities, trade, electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply, hotels, and restaurants, transport, and warehousing, arts, entertainment, and leisure. A declining trend was observed in the construction and mining industries.
