Following the reports of the National Statistics Office of Georgia, the external trade turnover (without undeclared trade) equaled 4 205.8 mln USD in January – May 2020.
The rate is 16.8% less than the indicator of Jan – May 2019.
Exports equal 1 235.7 mln GEL (16.2% less), while imports total 2 970.1 mln USD (17.0% less).
Georgia's negative trade balance reached 1 734.4 mln USD in January – May 2020, equalling 41.2% of the external trade turnover.
