Georgia sees its international investment ranking drops

The net international investment position of Georgia has dropped. As the National Bank of Georgia has reported, the place included 23.0 billion USD (-68.2 billion USD) as of December 31, 2019.

The volume is 134.2% of the 2019 Gross Domestic Product.

The rate has decreased by one billion USD than it was in the previous quarter.

As of December 31, 2019, total international assets are 10.7 billion USD, exceeding the previous quarter indicators with 331.9 million USD.

Total international liabilities have reached 34.5 billion USD (99.0 billion GEL) that exceeds the previous quarter indicator by 1.4 billion USD.
