Georgia talks with Japan to avoid double taxation

As the Finance Ministry of Georgia reports, it is beginning negotiations with Japan to update a deal on the avoidance of double taxation.

Online consultations were held for the purpose.

The updated deal aims to introduce innovations envisaged by the 2017 model of Economic Cooperation and Development Organization (OECD) to facilitate the deepening of economic collaboration between the countries and attract investments.

Georgia enjoys the deals on avoidance of double taxation and being exempt from taxes with 56 countries.
