"We may need about 50 mln GEL to eliminate the natural disaster outcomes in the Georgian region of Racha,'' Georgian PM Giorgi Gakharia stated as he visited the affected region.
He says the losses are severe.
''The work of restoration of highways requires additionally 30 mln GEL, and we may need even 50 mln GEL to eliminate the losses,'' Gakharia stated.
In his words, 12 villages in the region were disconnected from the outside area.
Eight villages remain disconnected as the road sections collapsed, while electricity will resume in a week.
