Georgian Railways plans to start the Tbilisi-Batumi-Tbilisi train from Jul 1. Three trains will run in this route. Following the removal of the curfew, the railway routes are set to change.
However, COVID-19 regulations have remained in force: railway passengers will still be subject to thermal screening; they will also have to step on COVID-19 safety mats and sanitize their hands before boarding the train.
Passengers without face masks will not be permitted, and they will be required to wear them during their entire journey.
