Income of Georgia from international tourism

According to preliminary data of the Georgian National Tourism Administration, international travel in Georgia totaled $ 2.8 billion in January-October 2019, 25 million more than a year earlier, this means + 0.9% increase in tourism revenue.

In the I-II quarter of 2019, the share of tourism in GDP was 7.7%. The growth is + 19.7% compared to the previous year.

According to official data for 2019, international travel revenues in Georgia in the II quarter amounted $ 877 million (increase + 8.4%), which is $ 68 million more than in the same period of the previous year.

International travel revenue in the I-II quarter was $ 1.5 billion in 2019 (growth + 7%), which is $ 95 million higher than in the previous year.
