Inflation at a record high level in the Eurozone

Inflation in the eurozone reaches a 10-year high of 3%. The European Statistics Office Eurostat publishes the statement.

In July, inflation in the eurozone was at 2.2%, up 0.3% more than a month earlier. Analysts attribute the rise in inflation to rising fuel prices and the partial opening of economies.

Germany and Spain have particularly high inflation rates among the eurozone countries.
